On October 21, 2013c like the other local news stations, WDRB reported on the Gibson trial and did what could be said to be a decent amount of coverage on the actual broadcast story. However when you get to the written story that WDRB posted on their site, you will see them found into much greater details that were left or on TV. They put in quotes from the trial, even the one where Gibson told Detective Cary East, "I wish you would just shoot me. " They also included other information for example how Gibson was accused of at least two other murders: Karen Hodella in 2002 and Stephanie Kiro in 2012.
