I was surprised at the different angle Brigid took on demassification as she said it does have an "evil" connotation behind it.
I agree with Grayson on his post on the magazine lecture on how "there are hardly any magazines that cater abroad nowadays"

At the online site of abcnews.com  I read a story on a journalist that was assulted by a comedian. I will critique this on making the important interesting.

This four paragraph, what they call, reporting on this story is insulting, this journalist failed to even mention the full names of those involved. This journalist covered something important, but didn't make it interesting. Instead he gave a poor outline of the story rather than a full interesting report of something that could have been better; it was just like he/she was wanting some other journalist to cover the story. This story is important to the journalist in the area of the crine and to any journalist that has the potential to be put in that situation; I assume that they would want to know when they are under conviction. This problem could have been solved if the journalist maybe tried to produce a report on something up to calabar with other stories under the Washington Post. If you are even remotely interested in this story, don't look here because you will not get it.
Now, after the assesment, I now can really focus on the notes that I took and be curious on the media of my lifetime. I find it cool that I know the history of the media I seem to be addicted to in my life. Also the knowledge and the background of thingslike music, radio, and newpaper in relationship to the fairly new technology of T.V is really crazy. I find myself shocked at the impact that T.V actually had on other media.
Looking back at my lecture notes I find that the lecture given on newspapers was very insightful i feel that i didnt know a lot of the material covered by Mr. Miller. I know understand the relevance of newspapers

I feel good about today's test like I did very well and so I hope that I did. It did a very good job on covering all the material and allowing us more practice on media critiques. I do wish all my friends in J1 a job well done!!!

The Jeopardy activity really opened my eyes on what I really need to study for the upcoming test. I really amazed me on how much I had overlooked from the beginning of the six weeks of J1 . Pat on the back to Mr. Miller on covering all the material and giving us a really good way of studying it and reintroducing me to it. Really good point on the newspaper anatomy,  I know it was something that I really had to study, hopefully it helped on the test but I know it influenced my studying a lot. Also the questions on the news block segments were quite helpful in reviewing along with the terminology that goes with it.
